alternatives to astra and giga

I've had astra and giga accounts before, but due to their size, they often are missing a lot of posts due to DMCA takedowns.

So, in the last couple of years I have been using UsenetBucket, but performance has been dropping there recently.

Is there any small but good usenet host that does not get plagued with DCMA takedowns and yet has significant retention and doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

I like UsenetServer but they DMCA too. You pretty much have to get a non-US or a short retention server like Altopia to avoid DMCA. I don't think Altopia does DMCA because they only have 2 day binary retention but I've not seen anything missing in that 2 day window.

I was considering them but I find it hard to live with such small retention.

Obviously it is a compromise, the larger the operation the more takedown requests...

How is pricing for unlimited bandwidth doe usenetserver?

You can get $10/mo unlimited with Usenetserver or if you pay for a year in advance, it comes down to $7.95/mo

If you use this link, we get a few bucks if you sign up for them.
