Automatic unrar issue

Hi

Running Ubuntu 16.10 / Wine / Newsbin
When it finishes downloading it auto unrar/unzips the rar files and deletes them : Perfect.

Switched to Mint 18.1 / Wine / Newsbin
Downloads rar's fine but refuses to auto unzip them.
It just leaves all the rar's (sometimes hundreds of them) in the download folder.
I have to go in manually and do them then delete from newsbin and delete the rars

I have the same newsbin config/setup on both systems.

Has anyone got the auto unrar to perform ok under mint?

I tried installing par2 from software manager - still same.
Im sure it probably has something to do with the default application for unrar, but being fairly new to linux cant work this out.

Cheers

I'd verify the unrar path. Maybe set it if it's not set. Newsbin uses an internal RAR library so you don't need to have rar or par software installed for it to work (though it's useful when things go wrong).

I'd make sure to try it with the latest 6.73RC2.

nope, set the unrar path in newsbin to point to same path as my downloaded rars. no difference
Using latest newsbin.

Weird as a fresh install of ubuntu/wine and newsbin works out the box.

Mint : fresh install/wine and newsbin and will not autounrar?

I'll have a play and see what else to try.....

cheers
