Newsdemon vs. Giganews

Has anyone switched from Giganews to Newsdemon? Would I regret doing that?

I'm seriously considering going the other way - every other file on Newsdemon seems to have the "freedownload101.com" password protection on them at the moment. Not sure what Giganews is like for password protected files but I may be finding out soon.

its a server, they virtually have the same files

If a server carries any particular group in the first place, then you can expect the contents to be the same on all servers that carry that group (allowing for things like variation in retention between servers). Groups are blindly replicated between servers without any attempt to regulate their contents.
