Hi
I like V5 and i have register it for a while.
Now I wanted to try the Beta V6, but my V5 key is not working. I always get the nag screen saying ten dayTrial expired.
So what could I do for testing V6
Thanks

You shouldn't have even had to enter the key if you were already registered. Did you restart Newsbin after you entered it?

Yes I restarted.
May be the problem is I installed it in a different directory.
Seems like I had an old testversion V5 under the installing account in windowsXP.
So what can I do now.

what happens when you put in your key and try to connect to the registration server?

First it looks good.
I can enter my reg-datas , newsbin connect to the server and looks like it has been registered.
After downloading some time , the nag screen pops up fpr purchase a key.
About Newsbin Pro then said First Name : Mr Unregistered Last Name : User Regkey is empty *thats not what I told him to register :)
Version is 6.0b4: 00 3F D3 29 ED F0

I'm not hearing "I restarted Newsbin in the mean time".

We don't really see this very often but, it seems to be related to not being able to write to the registry.

I did a fresh install of V6 B3 earlier today and had to stop and restart newsbin then put in the reg key then stop and restart again for it to stop the nag screen. You might want to try that, it worked for me.
