Incompetes won't DL

I have a file that is a 25 part .rar, and 6 par files (no .par tho).
For some reason the 1st post in every single file is missing. (so every file is incomplete)
When I add the file, it goes into paused state and will not start.
If I click the 1st line (complete set name) and click Resume, nothing happens.
I have to expand the set (using the small green arrow on the left), and highlight all 31 files and click resume.
Then they download. They also don't assemble (as they are incomplete).
So I then have to highlight the main file, and pick Assemble Incomplete's.
Then Auto-par does its magic of repairing and extracting the file.

So it works... but there's a few manual steps. As intended? Can't it be automated?
BTW Thanks for a great product :)

(running B9)

it depends on if they are giving 430 errors or not

the fiels have to be over 2 days old and have 3 retries for them to asdsemble, this doesnt currently work if giving 430 errors

This indicates it was purposely removed from the server by the server operators. Probably a DMCA request.

OK, that explains that :(
Is Newsbin supposed to be able to download the rest and assemble automatically, without me having to tell it too?

Depends on what version you're running. If it's more than 48 hours old, after one retry, if should auto-assemble and repair (if possible). DMCA take downs are often unrepairable. It depends on how many PAR blocks you get because the par blocks get trimmed too. It's possible that Newsbin didn't like the fact that pars were also truncated and that's why it didn't assemble and repair automatically.

That's something I can look at.

The whole assembly of incompletes thing in 6 is still a work in progress. I'm still looking for the correct balance.
