In v5 when I downloaded a collapsed list of files it wouldn't automatically download the par files (just the *.par). In v6 it downloads all the files.

I don't use AutoPar.

How do I get it back to putting the PAR files in a separate download tab like before?

Run Win7 64 bit

This is why it downloads all the PARS.

I'm probably going to add an option before release to pause the pars instead of downloading them all when you disable autopar. Either that or send them to the wish list.

v5 didn't automatically download the pars. it sent them to another tab.

Maybe I don't know how autopar works. I just flipped it on and also the auto-unRAR (love that feature! -- didn't know that existed) and it seemed to add them to the paused list. Once things were downloaded and extracted everything cleaned up.

I might be able to handle this.

Yes this is definitely needed.

It would also be nice if the auto par reported more info on the results especially if the par check fails.

This is driving me nuts as well! Along with another problem I had with some of the legacy settings autoassemble incomplete not being migrated!

I've got nothing.

I can't tell if you're asking for something or agreeing with WwTIPPYwW that autopar works pretty well.

Agree 110%! I asked for this "feature" 1.5 years ago (see suggestion at bottom of this thread: viewtopic.php?f=29&t=25998)

All of that information is listed in the par properties window. Right click, select Properties. If you see regular post properties then there's no par associated with the file you selected. You ought to see a "QuickPar" like window with details about the files and how many chunks are missing and the like.

OK, but I was looking for some more info about the status of processing. For example:

Idle, Scanning, [Set] Complete (meaning that no repair was needed), [Set] Incomplete, Repairing, Repaired (meaning that it is complete after repair), Repair Failed, Decoding, Decode Failed, Decoded.

p.s. It would also be great if I could search the AutoPAR Tab (like the PAR list etc).

That's the intent with the coloured progress bars. Seems pretty clear to me, downloading, repairing, assembling. If you're saying to want to micro-manage it, fair enough, there's always those that do.

There is no autopar tab in 6. I assumed you were talking about version 6. In 6, it's all handled pretty much in real time in the download list.

OK. My bad. I should have pointed out that i am still using v 5.59. I may try v6 and comment afterwards..

p.s. It may already have been answered, but I assume that they can run in parallel as long as use different .nbi file (and spools etc).

Believe you can. I suspect you have to manually save off 5.59 though or the installer will over-write it. You can even use the same NBI file.
