Files randomly deleted from download list with 2 servers

Postby mojo-chan » Sat Jul 30, 2011 7:54 pm

I have a problem downloading multiple files. I add them to the download list and they start downloading. I use two servers (my ISP and Astraweb) so most of the blocks turn red fairly quickly as the ISP's servers say they don't have the articles. The files begin to download from Astraweb as normal, but the ones that have turned red at the bottom of the list just randomly disappear. Not downloaded, not on the failed files list. I can add them again instantly without having to bypass the filters.

If I disable my ISP's server they download fine. Newsbin tries to download PARs for the missing files too.

It's probably fixed in the most current beta. I'd suggest disabling the ISP server for now. The issue is that the original 6 (and maybe 5.59 too) would assemble incompletes on files dirtied by bad servers. The latest beta won't assemble a file until at least one chunk has downloaded.
