Tab numbers don't update after downloading

I clear the list for each tab as I go along but the number on the tab doesn't reset to 0? Is there a way to update the headers so it reflects whats in the pane for that tab?

Also why does NB force me to use IE instead of default browser when using a link from with in NB?

The Motd window is IE and I think Microsoft will only launch IE when you click a link.

Not sure what to tell you on the tab counts. I loaded a group, selected them all and did a "Shift-Delete" and now my tab is showing zero. It might take a couple seconds for the number to change.

It's been 3 hours and the numbers don't reflect what I've done. I just use delete, there is nothing in the pane below that group but the tab still says 3? I deleted 1200 headers and what it does from what I can tell it when I'm deleting then I pause it updates at that point then I delete the three left and that's what shows? Surprised no one else has mentioned this.

Maybe it's not happening to anyone else? I loaded a group, did a delete, all the posts vanished, now it's showing (0) on the tab.

How are you deleting?

I delete by looking at the headers and press delete, so I'm deleting one header at a time. It seems to be where ever the counter updated is the number I'm left with. If your doing a ctrl-a then delete maybe that's the difference?

Loaded up a group. Made sure "Hide Old" was showing. Then deleted 10 lines. a second later, the count went down by 10. Then I selected 400 lines and did the same and the count went down by 400.

There must be something fundamentally different that we're doing.

Yes I hold down the delete key as I said. Then when ever the count gets updated last is where the tab number is even though the pane is cleared.

Wen I have several tabs open only one will go to 0 when I do a cont-A .. del. The rest do not reflect a new count.

Edit: They will reflect a new count as long as it is not 0..

When it comes to the tab headers, etc, I suspect different skins might come into play.
Try some of the others (View->Application Look) and see if the behaviour changes?
