Hi all,
I've just updated to 610 (it altered my layout which was a bit of fun!) but my real concern is I'm now lacking the message window at statup. Can anyone help on this one please?

You're probably referring to message of the day. It was changed so that it only pops up if there's a new message since the last you've read. You can always peruse all motd's using the Help menu.
