ssl error

Postby nickakavic » Thu Nov 24, 2011 3:44 am

Hi,

I've suddenly started getting errors saying:

[00:39:35] LOW InterSocket - SSL Connection Server:is.newsbin.comStats:DHE-RSA-AES256-SHA zlib compression 256 TLSv1/SSLv3

They happen to coincide with my provider, supernews, not having any post I try to retrieve(430 errors for anything I try to download). Kinda weird. Just wondering if anyone might know whats up?

Search is working fine right now. I think it suggests a connectivity problem or that something is blocking the connection to the search server.

I don't use the search service. I've contacted supernews and they say I'm connected and shouldn't have a problem downloading any post within a thousand days. Tried this morning and I can get around half of anything I download before this error seems to coincide with my download failing.

So what's this then? It's saying the connection failed...to the search server . This isn't your news server. You've not shown a news server errors.

Yeah, thats why I'm confused. I get the normal AssembleFiles process for each rar downloaded, then this is shown and theres no related error to why my download stops. I'm thinking a reinstall is in order.

Yeah, I cleared the local data on uninstall and now it appears to be working fine. No error about connecting to search and I just downloaded a 1.33 GB binary. Well, thanks for taking the time to help. I got a 50mb fiber connection to get back to abusing.
