After upgrading from version 6.71 RC3 to 6.71 Build: 4755, the "message of the day" now pops up each time I launch Newsbin (telling me about Newsbin 6.71 Production Release).
How do I stop that ?

If you're a registered user, you can disable it in the advanced options.
You might have to re-enter your key, then restart Newsbin if you're registered but haven't entered your key yet.
