Typically you connect your PC to a VPN and then Newsbin uses the VPN automatically because your PC is connected through it.

Is that what you're talking about?

No, i have a 50Mbps line for local traffic and its then throttled by my ISP for international and streaming and downloading to 10Mbps if i am lucky
i have a VPN but their servers are based outside of Thailand.

i did a test with vyprvpn as they have a thailand server , they also have a meter display , when i started with that vpn it showed a max connection of 10Mbps
if i used the speedtest.net app it went to 50 then dropped back to 10 when finished.

VERY ANNOYING lol

The fact that you are using a VPN is normally invisible to Newsbin.

It sounds as the VPN software or VPN host is limiting your speed since speedtest is also affected.
