No Results When searching

Technical support and discussion of Newsbin Version 6 series.

No Results When searching

Hi, I have had to rebuild my system and have installed Newsbin Pro 6.72, build 4776 & have a subscription to the search service.
When I enter a search I see no results, however my number of allowed searches decreases - any thoughts / suggestion how I can resolve this would be appreciated.

1 - In the options, I'd select "Open Data Folder" then exit Newsbin.

2 - Move/Delete the files "PosterLockout.txt" and "Filters.db3" into a new folder

3 - Restart and try again.

4 - Look at the display and make sure not filters are set.

Thanks for your reply, unfortunately your suggestion didn't resolve the issue.
Having uninstalled and reinstalled the software before posting my question I thought I would try the same again and hey presto my search is now working!

Sounds like maybe a permissions problem then. If Newsbin can't write to the data folder, search won't work.
