Downloaded files are misnamed

Postby etete » Sat Dec 31, 2016 11:39 pm

More oft than not multi-part files are downloaded with appendings such as "_ yEnc-162214-(0001).rar". This seems not to trigger a PAR check/repair after the main files are downloaded. What it does do is continue on to download all associated PAR files then does nothing. I can manually run a PAR utility and it notes the files are misnamed with no missing blocks and simply completes the quick rename.

Am I missing a switch that will cure this annoyance? I'm racking up gigs of unneeded PAR file downloads. :-(

What version are you using?

Are the RAR sets you're downloading uniquely named? Sounds almost like all the rars for all the sets have the same names so, you're getting filename collisions between sets.

PM me the group and some of the subjects and I can check it out. Don't post it out in the open.

Appreciate the reply Quade.

Argh! I just cleared download history therefore don't have any handy examples and can't recall a particular post. I'll inevitable run across it again very soon and will PM the required info.
