Newsbin won't stay open

Suddenly last night Newsbin shutdown on its own. Restarted, stayed open for about 10 seconds and closed. Tried this several times, same thing. Rebooted system, same problem, program opens, seems to be normal, but shuts down on its own after about 10 seconds. I'm using the latest build on an XP machine. The new build was working fine, actually much better than the previous, until last night. (It was handling RAR files much more logically.) Any idea what happened?

In the folder "Import" in the Newsbin data folder. If you find any ".gz" files, I'd move them out of the folder, then see if Newsbin keeps running. If it goes, I might copy them back in slowly. Maybe 10 at a time till it starts to crash. Then delete those GZ's, then copy the rest in and restart.

I suspect a corrupt file in the import folder.

Thanks - hit it on the first shot. Only 1 .gz file. Moved it. Newsbin opened normally, recreated the gz file and all seems fine.
