Please help an idiot - After reinstall, no more folders.

Postby chroma601 » Mon Jan 22, 2018 11:01 am

Just got a new computer. Happy to have a lifetime registration to Newsbin, still the best downloader out there!

But somehow I can't find the option to give each download its own folder. On my last PC (both running Windows 10) each NZB would get its own folder. Now all downloads are all together in my Newsbin_DL folder. Might some more aware soul guide me to the place where I can ask Newsbin to create a separate folder for each download?

I turn 71 next month. I tried to look for it, honest!

I don't mean to be annoying but it's the next day and no help so far. I've gone over every one of the options, and I keep missing one that allows each NZB to go to its own separate folder. Anyone?

In the unrar Folder option add "$(NZBFILE)" to the end of the unrar path. You could add it to the end of the download path instead but adding it to the unrar path is a better solution.

Don't include the quotes.

X:\<path>\$(NZBFILE)\

seems so simple in retrospect. I've been using this software for decades (well, a long time). It's right there in the user guide. Sigh.

Thanks Quade!
