Minor v6.81 descript.ion problems

2 minor "problems" with descript.ion files. As I DL mostly from picture groups I use descript.ion files extensively & since I DL often near the edge of retention I use "Test Download" for compressed files.

"Problem 1": In v6.81 the term 'Test Download:' is now appended in front of the subject in each line in the descript.ion file. Not a big problem because I can use 'Find and Replace' in Notepad++ to remove it.
"Problem 2:" If the compressed file has multiple parts (Chevy 1957.rar.001 through Chevy 1957.rar.007 or Ford 1980.part1.rar through Ford 1980.part4.rar) then each part has exactly the same subject line (even associated par files if any) - again I could edit the file if I wish.

The priority for correction of these "problems" is zero to very low as I can work around them and probably few others (if any) would even notice the problems.

Now using 6.82B1
Downloaded a picture set and all pics had the same description - other sets were normal.

edit: just realized I downloaded the set using a NZB (very rarely done). I suspect this is normal for NZB

Yeah, I suspect all the files got combined into one grouping because you used NZB. That's why they shared a single subject. You'll be able to work around this in the next beta by loading the NZB to the post list instead of to the download list directly.

I hope your new GUI will continue support for descript.ion and maybe fix these minor problems. I bet most users don't use this feature but I rely on it to describe pictures that may be named like dsc56493 or img_65063.

Support for descript.ion files, for use with ACDSee, is what led me to Newsbin back in ...the day.

Is this year Newsbin's 25th anniversary?
