Manual Import of V5 Headers

Postby Stuart264 » Thu Feb 03, 2011 1:55 pm

2 Bugs to report

1. I just finished importing my V5 Headers into V6 Beta however I noticed the import seemed to stop when the screensaver activated, but it ran fine once the screensaver was disabled. (Windows 7 x64)
2. The Icon for the "speed limit" on the menu bar is just a blank disk.

id say thats the power options of windows rather than a bug in newsbin

do you mean the status bar? it should be a green circle for normal and a red circle if the speed limiter is activated

I don't really consider either one to be a bug.

1 - The question is, why does newsbin stop processing when the screen saver comes up. I doubt it's anything in Newsbin, I'll bet your CPU drops to 5% speed or something.

As an experiment, you could turn off power management but, still let the screen save work and see if Newsbin keeps crunching.

2 - The round thing is an indicator, not a buttom.

1. Your right, it does.

2. The indicator lights up on the bottom right of the screen, just not on the toolbar where it stays grey ? is this right I would have thought both would have changed colour?

He's saying the toolbar and indicator aren't synced.
