Adding NZB's B2

Postby magician1962 » Sun Feb 20, 2011 6:02 pm

Noticed two possible issues, one has I belive been mentioned elsewhere.

The first relates to multipart downloads. If adding more than one at a time from browser, only one seems to get in the list the rest dissapear, not even in failed.

The second relates to singlepart files, I have had on several occasion added a number of downloads from IE, many almost immediately fail, and appear in the Failed list. Double clicking them adds them back to the download list, and in most cases then download without issue. As far as i can tell there are no filters in place for the affected files. I guess its possibly a matter of timing and could be I have requested just before it has arrived on the server, but might it be something else.

Regarding the first item I just added 5 downloads which I have never downloaded before. They all added to the download list, though 4 dissapeared very quickly.

The only parts downloaded for these 4 were were nfo, par2, sfb

Looking at what i selected it would appear that it was the last item in the nzb that was downloaded in full
Nothing in the logging tab or failed downloads

As to the second issue, I wll keep an eye on the logs as new files become available. In the past it was easy, they always had something, but now, mostly empty.

Pause, add the NZB's, delete the small text files. Unpause and see what happens.

This is already addressed in B3. Just polishing some other stuff before putting it up.

Hi Quade, many thanks that does seem to make the difference.

One thing i did note this morning was that even adding one by one, the small parts would be downloaded and some main files just missed

As to single part downloads. Added about 20 this morning, 4 went to the failed list, added straight back to downloads, and they downloaded. Nothing appeared in the logging tab.

The problem is autopar, not the small files. The small files are triggering a cleanup that cleans the larger files out of the download list.

If you download the small files first or download them after the large files, everything works fine. The issue happens when the small text files are mentioned in the PAR file.
