Two issues with B4

Postby jackholexxxx » Mon Feb 28, 2011 8:41 pm

1) I see this error in the logs, It is the only message in the log other than the high speed file creation message.
Code: Select all
[15:17:32] ERROR   - Decode Worker UnThottled

Anything to worry about?

2) I notice that my files are being unrared with a date/time in the future. They used to get the date/time they were extracted. I have checked the date and time of the machine. This is seriously messing with my automated workflow. Has something changed in this area?

Yes. Does this mean there is a new rar library in B4 that now respects the date/time in the rar? Something has changed from B3 and v5. I don't suppose there is a way to get back the behavior of previous releases is there?

I use "folder actions" on my mac to monitor a folder and rename the downloads with proper filenames (eliminating all that extra crap people shove into the filename). These folder actions do not work with files that have a date/time in the future. So I have to either give up some automation or manually unrar on the mac to get around this. Not a huge deal, but disruptive nonetheless.
