Not sure if this is a bug, but all my wish list items have now got the Green yellow Bypass Filters Icon, as do most of my downloads that were there during re-start

Just added several new items from available downloads to the Downloads Tab

Initially you get a blue circle with tick - as expected

On closing and re-starting this is definitely changing to the Green/yellow Bypass Filters Icon

I am not yet sure if its an icon issue or if the actual setting has changed and hence the icon

My system did an auto shutdown last night due to Windows Updates will a long list of files in the download path. When I restarted Newsbin, several files populated the download list and properly completed, but I discovered that the majority of my binaries are in the Failed tab (with the download fail icon). When I move them back to the Download List with Bypass Filter, a few RARs might download, but the complete package ends up back in the Failed tab. They are from different news groups and different dates so I no it cannot just be an incomplete or missing post at Giganews.
I have installed version 6.0b7 - build 876 (64 bit).

When they fail, do you see anything in the logging tab?

Try this, pause Newsbin, add all the files from failed back to the download list. Select them all in the download list and hit "Ctrl-Y" then unpause and see what happens. Maybe "Forcing" from the failed list isn't working.

I have tried that. I've tried moving it with the icon rather than the CTRL-Y. I tried moving it to a different folder. They still fail.
I just tried shutting down Newsbin and restarting. The entire Download list moved into the "Fail" tab with the failed to download icon.
I added a single compacted post and it started to download, but right toward the end (599.1MB/647.5MB) it failed. The log shows:
"Error - Rile already on Disk, no Autorename for"

Sounds like you have your answer then.

Error - Rile already on Disk, no Autorename for"

Do you have autorename turned off? Do the files already exist on disk?

Autorename was off, however the failed RARs did not exist on the drive. I am not sure if it just chocked on one file, and then dumped all of the remaining files in a post, or if there is something else going on. Earlier it appeared that after I exited the application, restarted, and then added one of the compacted posts from the Failed Tab that it downloaded a few more of the component RARs and then in the middle of one through out the naming error and dumped the remainder.
I turned autorename on, and now I seem to be getting some completions. I am glad that it is working, but it still does not seem right.

It's something to think about. B7 should be seeing the file on disk and simply saying "Ok I see it" before the auto-rename checking is even done. In B7, that required the PAR though. In B8 it'll be all the time.
