Assign A New Unrar Path error

Postby Fisherking » Tue Apr 19, 2011 4:07 pm

NB Beta 9 & 10

In the download list, I've selected a file and choosed " Assign A New Unrar Path " command and pointed to the f:\DVD path for decode. NB successfully downloaded the files to my Default C:\Binaries\ path and then unrared to the path F:\DVD

It's OK until here ..... But !

Now, all of the files in my DL list unrars to the F:\DVD path even my Default DL path set as C:\Binaries\ in the options

Thanks

Any Update about this ?

This is very annoying cause I'm stuck at the F:\DVD path. All of the files goes there and I cannot change it.

Where NB keeps this setting/variable about " assign a new unrar path " command ? If you can tell me where it keeps it, I can delete this variable manually

Thanks

Yeah, I couldn't reproduce it. The unrar path is stored in the downloads.db3 along with the other downloads.

Hmm, did you restart between assigning the path and it using the wrong path?

Can't you select them all and simply "assign new path" to the old unrar path?

I'm going to look at the restart thing. I'll bet that' when the bad path propogates.

Pretty sure I'm correct, that restarting weirded out the unrar path. That's why I didn't see it in my tests. Should be fixed now.

If you're going to assign unrar path, I wouldn't do it if you plan on restarting. It works fine until you restart.

So When my download list is completed, everything will be OK. So, I'll not use that function until fixed.

It was actually more involved than I expected but, it is fixed.
