Drag Highlighting

Quade,

Any idea at this point about which way you will go on Drag Highlighting? Can you give users a Settings Choice?

Thanks
Tom

I'm probably just going to turn it back on. You can do it now by making some space on the right and starting the drag to the right of the rightmost column.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! :D

Yes, I remember our previous exchange, but I truly hate wasting screen real estate for that.

What would you take to make me a Beta 14 with that feature turned back on? :D If not, will test 14 as is.

Thanks as usual! :D

It's actually "fullrowselect" that makes you go to the far right. I'd have to disable full row select to let the more conventional drag select work. If anything, I might make "fullrowselect" an option. I hate the way it looks with conventional select but maybe you won't.

This the option that selects the whole line instead of just the first column.

I don't see any visual screen difference between the two methods, just the functionality difference between the way conventional drag select and fullrowselect work. Are you saying the screens look different somehow when viewing them? Am I missing something? Can you possibly send me some screen caps?

My opinion, this would be a good choice and satisfy those users who have complained.

Can you send me a 14 with fullrowselect disabled for now?

Thanks

You've never seen it in the non-full mode. That's why you don't notice a difference.
