Below is a copy of my debug level logs when I tried to post something to an existing group with my current usenet provider, they say the problem is with NB, and as I was able to post files and requests previously I believe them (I don't post often, so not sure when this stopped working)

The same thing happens if I post a file (above) or just a message (say, a message saying test, test testy test to a.b.test)
[17:30:42] DEBUG Connection Status: SSL Connection Server: reader.usenetbucket.com SSL Cert: reader.usenetbucket.com Stats: AES128-SHA 128 TLSv1/SSLv3

HIGH usenetbucket None |441 required header missing.

This is the key. The problem is it's not telling what header is missing. You do need the poster address to look like an email even if it's not a real email.

I'll try some test posts against my servers.

Thanks.

edit: yeah, something was changed between the last stable and the beta, stable posted with complete success:

[01:44:56] HIGH usenetbucket |340 start posting.
[01:44:56] HIGH usenetbucket None |240 Message received.

assume you know, but for the record, problem still exists in B4:

[01:52:40] DEBUG Connection Status: SSL Connection Server: reader.usenetbucket.com SSL Cert: reader.usenetbucket.com Stats: AES128-SHA 128 TLSv1/SSLv3
[01:52:40] HIGH usenetbucket |340 start posting.

I haven't look at it yet. I assume 6.62 works. It's strange because I haven't touched posting in awhile.

cool, just making sure it hadn't gotten buried and yup posting works flawlessly in 6.62 (which I'm currently using happily)

Cheers!
