Where have all the headers gone?

I reported in a reply to the announcement thread that I was seeing a lot of fake incompletes. That is, the posts were showing incomplete in the header list, but when I checked properties all parts were available. I now think I know what the problem is. I' wasn't getting any new headers! Apart from one instance of a small post getting through a day, or so ago, I wasn't seeing anything newer than 3.7 days old. I'm using news-europe.giganews.com. Running Newsbin Pro 9.80B9 - Build 4978.
As an experiment, I added a group I didn't already subscribe to & set it to download all headers. It seemed to download as normal. I waited for the cache to clear & the group to be populated. It claimed just 2 posts, but when I opened it, there were no posts whatsoever visible.
The next thing I checked was my filters, as I'd recently added a new one to block a spammer. I created a global subject line reject filter for "[AoUpload]" & it appears that this is blocking everything for reasons I don't understand, as new headers appeared when I tried downloading after disabling it. I'm sure you'll be able to explain why that filter blocked everything, rather then just posts with [AoUpload] in the subject line.
Now, is there any way of redownloading all new headers for just the last 4 days, or will I have to completely redownload all headers to recover the ones I missed?

you mean I don’t have to replace them when their pitted and grooved

This is a real issue I've since fixed.

[AoUpload]

It a bad regular expression it means

"Match any single character in the group "AoUpload" ....and the rest.

So you basically filtered everything out.

\[AoUpload\]

Would probably do what you want. Honestly

AoUpload

Would probably work just as well too.

Thanks, Quade. I suspected as much. So how do I redownload the headers I missed in the last 4 days without having to redownload all headers for all the groups? Is that possible?

Right click the groups "Post Storage/Use Download Age" then set a 4-5 day "download age" then download headers normally.
