Version 6.82 Beta 8 Available...

Found a few issues with Beta 7, so now we have a Beta 8!

Changes:
  • Fixed an error that prevents retries from counting properly when a server returns 500 errors.
  • Fixed a problem where long groups was used instead of short group in download pathing.
  • Update obfuscated filename renamer to work with more file types other than MKV files. Should work with any file type now.
  • By default Sonarr downloads are now sent to the top of the download list. This is configurable in the newsbin.nbi configuration file.
  • Fixed issue where local searching doesn't respect the group folder (Group of Groups) setting when searching groups.
  • PAR file renamer now applies to more obfuscated PAR types.

You can download the beta from the Beta Page and let us know if there are any issues either by replying to this thread.

Change the link name from 7's to 8's and it finds it.

Eg

http://www.newsbin.com/download.php?reg ... ion=6.82B8

What in the nbi file do you change so it stops sending them to the top?

Code: Select all
[NZB]
SonarrAddTop = 0 or 1

1 enables it. It's enabled by default

When I look that isn't there

Code: Select all
[NZB]
DownloadPath=
NZB_DD_Autoload=1
NZB_LoadSingle=0
NZB_PathClean=1
NZB_PathCleanRE=^(\d+_)|(msgid_\d+_)

You will have to add it. If it is absent the default value is assumed.

That didn't stop it from adding them to the top.

'Path Item Definitions' in the Edit Path window seems to be filling out blanks with '\$()', instead of the string variable.

My Groups list displays the long used download paths F:\NB-Downloads\$GOG\ which are located on a separate hard drive than my installation of Newsbin to C:\Program Files\Newsbin and C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Newsbin. But files aren't being saved to those folders. I've checked the properties settings for each GOG and found that the Download Folder boxes and the Edit Paths for all GOGs are blank.

The DownloadPath settings for each Group of groups in the Newsbin.bin file, which is the only Newsbin.bin file on my computer are correct, and and are the same as this sample:

[VIDEO_FILES]
ColumnDir=1
ColumnSort=1
DisableAutoRAR=0
DisplayAge=0
DownloadPath=F:\NB-Downloads\$(GOG)\
EnableAutoMode=0
EnableFilters=1
InitDays=0
IsExpanded=0
PAR_AutoDownload=30106
ShowFilenames=0
ShowNew=1
UseFTR=0
UseMDA=0
UseProfile=0

Is it something with Version 6.82 Beta 8?

If not, what might the problem be and how might it be fixed?

Yes....it looks pretty F'd. Sorry I missed this post. I'll make sure it's fixed for the release.

The logic is

1 - Check the group
2 - Check the Topic
3 - Use the main download path or main NZB download path.

Keep in mind that the final destination for unrared files is the unrar path and not the download path. Sometimes they're the same. Sometimes they aren't. If you have an unrar path set in the main options, that's where the files will end up. It's probably more important to set the unrar path than to set the download path. Because downloaded RAR files are typically deleted after download.
