When a file does not exist on the server, Newsbin will throw up a lot of errors, in the Logging tab.
In most cases it does not make sense to keep on trying and trying.
Maybe there is an much easier way to solve the below, I am not a Newsbin expert.
Right now, in case of the above, I need to take several steps to 'stop & clear' the download.
1. Pause/Stop the download
2. Delete entry under 'subject'
3. clear failed file list
4. clear logging entries
Should avoid Newsbin from retrying to download when it is launched again.
Maybe I am overlooking an option, but if not, I would like to suggest a new -option-
that does the following
once Newsbin detects an article isn't available, usually the logging tab is flooded,
2. show a popup with the article and saying that likely the article isn't available
3. and offer to cancel/stop the download and clear all matters (see above)
'Probably article: abcdefghijklmnopqrstxyz.nzb is not available anymore'
'[Delete&Clear article] [Continue][Cancel]'
Cancel: popup will disappear, NB still paused user can take any other action
Continue: NB will not show the popup anymore for that article.
Delete&Clear: all relevant items in NB are cleared
