This person is really messing up ab.teevee does anyone have an idea of who the person is? Is it a DMCA person?
The person is really making this group worthless.

Thank you

I think he's just another obscure poster. You could filter him out with a header filter and/or use a size filter so you only see larger sets of files.

He posts across numerous groups (when I say "he", I think it's a posting bot).

Some of his complete sets, you could try Ctrl-R to ID the files. You might want to use the latest beta if you do that.

your best bet with Bob's posts are to filter him out of your header download.....

My question arose because in recent months uploading of shows has been deplorable in the a.b.teevee. This all started with his postings with the full normal release names, its as if it blocks the normal group/person from sending the file as the name is already populated in the group. I hope you follow what I am an saying.

The only other option I can think of is no one is uploading anymore.

I'm pretty sure the people who posted the "FULL" posts have simply stopped posting and/or move to an obscured posting format. Bob isn't blocking these posts. The other posts simply aren't being posted in the clear.

https://nzbindex.nl/search/?q=&age=&max ... m=1&more=1

select a bunch of bob@home posts it's not just @homef....

download them in one big rar and then sample the files....

or if you get lucky you may get a complete file...

this is where your Teevee posts have partially gone....

I think the problem is I've been Using Usenet since mid 80s and it's been working fine since recent, now I have to educate again.
Some discussions on other webs seem to point to the Hurricanes and other disasters this year. I could see that as a possibility.

One thing is very clear what we use get for granted is badly broken.
NEwsbin has nothing to do with it.
I cut the TV plug so long ago when I see commercials at Friends homes I just wounder how they can even watch.

Cheers
