How to search with special characters

Postby doval71 » Thu Jun 29, 2017 4:17 pm

Greetings,
I am trying to perform a search for files containing c++. The search strips the ++ as special characters. I've tried escaping the characters using c\+\+ and tried delimiting the string with double quotes. I am not having any luck. Can anyone advise me on how to do this, or where to look for a solution?
Thanks

Sorry, we don't index words 3 characters and less and we strip "+"'s. The groups that would contain that type of content are relatively low traffic so I'd suggest downloading headers for those groups then searching using regular expressions with the search dropdown set to "Local". Then you'd just put in c\+\+
