Getting Newsbin to direct and sort downloads

Postby redphyve » Mon Nov 20, 2017 6:17 am

Hi Guys

Sorry for posting this topic again, but I cannot find any of the previous replies in my forum messages, so apologies for digging this up again.

I had to reinstall Windows. It was a bad one, thankfully sorted now...and I thought I remembered the correct string to make Newsbin load my tv shows into it's own sub-folder with the show named and numbered.

What is actually happening is that it goes to the correct folder, creates a sub-folder called nzb and loads the finished .mkv file in there, with a huge alphanumeric name, like 434ee9f353464ea28d131527d0948978.mkv

What I am using in the Main Download Folder is K:\2011 New TV\$(NZBPATH)\
And in the Download Folder For Downloads from NZB files is K:\2011 New TV\$(NZBPATH)\

What also happens is I will get a folder named Blindspot.S03E03.720p.HDTV.x264-AVS-Pre and in it I find the mkv file 434ee9f353464ea28d131527d0948978.mkv.

Thanks for any assistance

Regards

The files are posted this way these days. Meaning, the reason you can't find the options is that it doesn't exist for this type of file.

That said, I'm planning on adding the ability to automatically rename these files in the next beta.
