Error Timeout

Postby wes456 » Mon Feb 01, 2010 2:36 am

Been having these issues below on numerous servers. Can anyone help me to correct this issue?

Grabit seems to be downloading just fine.

Thanks!

In the server options, check "Disable XFeatures". Then restart Newsbin and see what happens.

I'm not able to download certain groups headers.

Some work, some don't (ex. .x264 and .hdtv) just sitting there showing the totals # of headers to download but not downloading.

Did you disable Xfeatures? Really large groups, Newsbin has to probe the group to know what to download. What happens if you right click the group and "Download all Headers"?

Xfeatures has always been disabled.

It worked until today.

Some groups ARE working.

Must be a Newshosting problem.

UPDATE:

Just DOWNLOADED ALL HEADERS and its downloading the headers.
Something must have gotten cacked when I shut down.

Had the same issue but whenever I switched to grabit, it worked just fine. So far everything is working again for me but it was pretty much out the entire day yesterday.

I don't want to diss any server but, we do get more reports about this stuff from Newhosting than probably any other major server. Followed by Usenetserver.
