[ Fast User Switching On Windows XP ]

Postby Snorph » Wed Mar 10, 2010 7:24 am

I have been working on my box turning it into a server. Well I am running Windows XP Pro service pack 3. However everytime I reboot I have too click on my name to log into Windows.

I have unchecked fast user switching and the bottom one where it allows you to use classic login.

However it made no change, still I have to click on the icon.

Any techies out there know how to disable that fuction?

From the Run Command, enter "control userpasswords2" , no quotes and uncheck the box to have user enter password.

Does your Administrator account have a password? See here for detailed instructions on setting the account. Make Google your friend.
