CHUNKS_1 folder not removed

Postby nethead » Thu Feb 17, 2011 4:19 pm

Notice the CHUNKS_V1 folder isn't removed after a download is complete; after upgrading from v5 to v6.

A feature? :?:

That's left for you to do. If you never want to use 5.59 again, delete it. If you ever want to revert then it's still there for you.

I see, when using v6 a Chunks_1 folder is created to hold the NB2 file, but v6 then doesn't remove it after it's done using? (in v5.59, it did :) ) Should we now turn off the Chunks_1 folder with v6?

thank you for your support and newsbin pro, best newsgroup software that keeps betting better :D

Haha, Sorry I misread your post and my answer is totally out of left field.

I'll look at it.

I was thinking "spool_v1" for some reason. I never use that mode. I'd love to remove it.

cool!

Thanks for checking on it :)

it's not so much of an issue when doing a group dl; but when doing the "download to subject" it can be a bit to get rid of per folder :)
