Filters work differently from Agent

This is the place for people switching to Newsbin from other newsreaders, or for people evaluating Newsbin who are already experienced Usenet users. If your old newsreader had a feature you liked that Newsbin doesn't, tell us about it.

Filters work differently from Agent

I like the way Agent lets you select a post and add a kill filter. It automatically brings in the poster name or the post subject. I'm not clear yet how filters work in NB, although I've set up a couple, but a similar feature would be nice.

I agree. Quade is actually looking into rethinking the filters to make them more approachable right now.
