Question on limiting Newsbin download

Postby atomarchio » Thu Jul 06, 2017 9:30 am

Is there a way to limit how much of my internet download is being used when running the newsbin app? (I'm running 6.72)

This would allow me to web browse and other things while Newsbin is running. At the moment, I can't seem to do anything else while Newsbin is on.

Please let me know. Thanks.

Yes, there is a speed limiter you can set. Go under Options -> Settings -> Network and set the speed there. Then you can turn it on there or in the toolbar, 5th icon from the left.

Alternatively, if you just run fewer connections to your server, like 2-3, typically you can still get a good datarate and still leave enough left over for light web browsing without huge delays.
