Disk format support - REFS (not NTFS)

Postby haileris » Sun Jan 28, 2018 6:40 pm

Any thoughts whether the ReFS file system would cause any problems with Newsbin. I've been trying to use newsbin on a new 6TB disk with ReFS as the file system, tried latest beta and latest full, both have issues (although I did get one file decoded on the latest beta version.) Otherwise I get constant NNTPWokerParRepair issues (spelling mistake) on the latest beta or insufficient space on the 6.73 version.

Ignore the ReFS, still saying disk has insufficient space since I reformatted to NTFS on 6.73 or 6.80 RC4... any idea why it would be doing this? There is 5.17TB left on the disk...

Redirected the downloads to another folder on the same drive - seems to be working now!

I'd expect it to just work to be honest.

Makes sense - I was just looking at something that was different from a normal setup. I've lost my chance to test now - too much data to move off the drive. Still got a few problems though, a heap of files have decoded but I still have a sea of blue i.e. downloads that are not decoding. I'll have to have a look tomorrow.
