So, just installed bottles and newbinpro in bottles. Seems to run fine but Iget this error now:
[07/29 10:05:45] ERROR ReadFullDatabase: Invalid packet Format: Storage.db3
[07/29 10:05:45] ERROR ReadFullDatabase: Invalid packet Format: Storage.db3
It might have something to do with me downloading ALL headers for multiple groups. Not sure. I just might be bottles?

Is there somethine I could check?

(linux mint mate 22.1, bottles version 51.24 flatpak Ryzen 7 32GB Ram on SSD)

I've never used bottles with Newsbin. It works great with vanilla "Wine". In fact I test every release against "Wine" to check the installer.

The DB's are pretty robust. I wonder if you ran out of disk space and corrupted them? I'm thinking disk space or permissions problems writing the DBs.

Headers for large groups take up an extraordinary amount of disk space if you download all of them. You have to be careful about running out.

I tried bottles with version 6.90 of newsbin pro. Seems to work fine, but feels there are a few graphical glitches.
One that I know of you can see in the server settings. The check boxes you have to mouse over to get them to fully appear. Like Enable Server, Requires Login, etc

Can't get associations to work. I got it to half work by double clicking an .nzb file. It would open newsbin pro. But it wouldn't start downloading. I figure i'll wait until bottles devs support it. I can drag and drop an nzb into newsbin pro to get it to download. So it's good enough

Is the downloading progress bar suppose to be yellow. I forgot

The best wine runner I know of with this version is ge-proton. Using windows 10 option

Only been using fedora for 3 weeks now. So really new to this stuff
