My ISP was trying to save me moving to verizon to get 2.5gbe for the same price i was paying now. Then my current ISP said they would counter and offered me 5gbe internet for the same price i'm paying now ($99mo for 3 years.)
So I said sure.
Much of my network is 10gbe already including the wan port, switch and NIC's.
I'm hoping to get some tips to try to max out my download speed. I've ramped the connections up from 8 to 48 but still I'm only getting about a gigabit. Speed tests in the browser range between 1.8gbe to 5gbe depending on the remote end.
* I'm saving to local SSD
* Connections 48 (out of 50)
* Plenty of memory and CPU is not maxing out.
* Antivirus not active
Any other tips? Like maybe to improve parallel processing of multiple downloads concurrently?
