I manually deleted the contents of SPOOL_V6 folder. Now I am redownloading headers, but the folder is not recreated. But yet the headers seem to go somewhere, because I can open the group and see contents.
I am extremely confused...

In the options select "Open Data Folder". See if this is the same path you deleted from.
