I accidentally clicked on some button and now my layout is wacko. How do I reset the Ver 6 layout?

One the options, you can select "reset display layout on restart" but that might be what you're not liking now. A re-install lets you pick doesn't it? You could try installing on a different machine, then look in the new machines's data folder for "Workspace.xml" then copy it over to the old data folder on the old machine and see if that works,
