Backup NG subscriptions and filters

Hello,

I downloaded by mistake way too many headers and am stuck with the "Low disk space" window.
To make a clean (re)start just with a backup of the the NG subscriptions (and the folders I had arranged
them into) and the filters i had created - would this be the proper way:

1.backup keep the newsbin.nbi and the filters.DB3 files
2.empty the data folder
3. move the two backup files back to the data folder
4. open nbi file with right click -> newsbin

or simpler(wasnt sure if this messes things up):
1. empty the data folder except these two files
2.open nbi file with right click -> newsbin

?
thanks

In the options you can select "Open Data Folder"

Then delete "spool_v6" and "import". This will delete all stored headers, watch headers and custom list header and the downloaded headers waiting to be imported.

If you set a short "Download age" say 10-30 days and download headers normally you should only get the last "Download Age" worth of headers.

Ok thanks, that would have been easier. But if I had already done it the way I described, would my way leave the NG subscriptions and filters intact?

It should work. You'll need to re-register in Newsbin most likely too.
