Watch Topic using Look in Topic

I've got a GOG that USED to include a.b.misc. After our previous conversation I removed that group from the GOG. But my Watch Topic is still showing headers from a.b.misc. Is that expected? It's a wildcard search with Look in Topic set to a GOG.

Any existing headers in the watch will remain there and any crossposts to other groups that are also in the GOG should show up.

You'd have to look closer. Like Ctrl-R one of them and see if the files are crossposted to other groups too or only in "misc".

I did sort by Group then Shift-Del ALL of those in a.b.misc

The next day, more appear. The odd part is that the date on the newly appearing post are over 30d.

Just did Ctrl-R on one that showed up today. I'm guessing this shows the different groups the post was posted in.

Newsgroups: alt.binaries.boneless,alt.binaries.ftd,alt.binaries.misc,alt.binaries.nl
Subject: (3/7) "leTHewPutOPhErATEckl.part2.rar" - 108,43 MB - yEnc (1/33)

None of those are in the GOG that I use which I removed a.b.misc from.

Maybe I was looking in a different view before (search?) but I was thinking the group column would list all the groups the post was found in.

Solved this one. The Watch Topic must have been corrupt in some way. I created a new one using the same settings and it works fine. No more headers from groups that are not in the GOG the Watch Topic references.
