Password added later, how to restart unrar?

Downloaded all the .rars but nothing happened.
Then I noticed I forgot to add the password, added it, but what now?
Still nothing happens. How to start the unrar?

File Exit > Relaunch does not help.

Thanks!

I'd suggest using "WinRAR" at this point. I always keep winrar and quickpar installed for these weird corner-cases.

Okay, thanks.
Done.

Just curious to know, coincidentally I have licensed WinRAR installed and somewhere I also have Quickpar.
OTOH, if a user does -not- have that...
Normally this all is being handled by NB.

I guess the only workaround then would be to redownload bypassing filters so as to trigger NB to process the files, right?

You can trigger and unrar from the right click menu in the files list but, I'm not sure it'll offer a way to add the password. It might work.

If you don't have WinRAR (or don't want to install / use winRAR): I use 7zip for this scenario: it'll ask for the decrypt password, yaks when it's not the correct one and can handle (multi-volume) rar files without any fuss. (check 7zip.org - it's an open source archiver / depacker, which can handle all the usual formats).

7zip is good too. WInRAR is the original rar unpacker so I tend to go to it. It'll unpack 7zips too.

I wasn't endorsing either one. Just suggesting you need to be ready for usenet foibles.
