Watch_Topics

RC4 rock solid so far for me. Are the watch topics functional in this ver? Mine seem dormant. I get hits if i manually run them but I can't recall seeing any automated hits. Not a massive problem bu tjust thought I'd ask.

Cheers.

Mine seems to work. I can't see any setting that would disable the whole updating of watch topics.
Although, I just thought each watch topic would have to be disabled for none to update.

Each time I close and open NewsBinPro, it cycles through the watch topics and the time stamp updates. If done in short intervals, it won't find new stuff, although I do see you say you did it manually and got updates.

Quade hopefully could think of something or know more as he develops the program.

I believe they're working. I'd suggest maybe the filters are filtering too much.

I have hits from header downloads from 1 day ago.

The fact you can manually feed though suggests something else is up.

Finally got around to testing this. Deleted/recreated all watch lists. Tried them with and without filter profiles. They continue to sit there in the list with the last updated status of 'Never'.

I hate to butt in but my watch topics update.

The only thing I know of is they each can be enabled or disabled.
If they are disabled, it would cause them never to update.

Otherwise, just closing NewsbinPro and waiting 10 seconds then open again the watch topics should start updating as well as the time stamps.
