Having the same issue as taanru - nb682 worked a treat!

Thanks very much for Newsbin and all the work/inspiration contained in it.

Are these NZB's search or header downloads?

In my case they're header downloads flagged by the watchlist.

Can you PM me the subjects and groups of some specific examples? I'm holding off the 10 beta for now till I see what's up with them.

So sorry for the n00b questions but, I wanted to ask:

Quade, you mentioned earlier that NZBs with a password do not need to be added manually to the queue... How do I get these ? Currently I use nzb.ru and Usenet4all fairly exclusively with NZBGrabit third

NZBLink continues to show up as an option but I am not leaving NEWSBIN for another solution any time soon IS this supported somehow?

Lastly, using EasyNews, I want to NZB some of the results from searching but it always ends up badly mangled. I have to download directly via HTTP. Am I doing something wrong or is EasyNews just messing up the NZB?

No worries if these are stupid and I am better off Googling to further educate myself

In Newsbin there are a couple ways to feed the NZB.

1 - You can drag and drop it onto the download list.

2 - You can download the NZB in the browser and "open" it.

3 - You can make a special folder that Newsbin watches for NZB files. Any NZB files picked up there are added and downloaded.

Apparently NZBLink provides additional meta information in addition to the NZB itself but, I'm not 100% clear about this. I'll have to look into it.

Nzb's with build in passwords have filenames that look like "File Files of Interest.mkv {{Password}}.nzb"

If you feed these into Newsbin so they show up on the download list. Newsbin will extract the password and use it for the download.

I have yet to ever run across one of these.

Indeed I do run into the NZB Name such as:

but never formatted with both file.mkv and .nzb

Any way to have dynamic priority or server switching? Even with priority set, some articles are available on one server but not the other but it is inconsistent, given really poor download speeds if the primary server does not have the articles needed.

For example, if a particular number of 430 Not Found articles is reported back to back, the priority changes to the other server?

Does this one allow posting to groups?

My server (usenetserver) doesn't permit posting so, I'm having a hard time testing it. I'll try to setup a dummy test setup to try.
