Why is newsbin adding a txt file to my urared archives?

At least since 6.90 when newsbim unrars an archive I have downloaded from an nzb that is obfuscated I get a a txt file that just has the name of file inside that newsbin just adds why is it doing that and how do I turn it off?

I'd suggest pulling the rars out of the recycle bin and see if you see that text file inside the rars.

By default Newsbin doesn't touch the contents of the unrar.

I tried it with an archive that gave me that little text file I disabled autorar and used winrar and got no txt file

Got the NZB. I'll give it a try when Newsbin is running again.

The txt file is inside the NZB so, Newsbin is saving it properly. It has some encoded data in it. I'm guessing it's the real filename but I haven't decoded it yet.

It's not listed as a text file. That's why the subject filters won't block ut.
