Lost my arrow indicator

Postby efgh » Wed Oct 21, 2026 12:42 pm

Greetings,
I have a little mystery. Finally upgraded to win11. I do not know if it is related to win11 or just happened at the same time.
For Newsbin on the taskbar, when I am actively downloading, I use to have an arrow, a right pointing triangle to indicate I have a download in progress. Now I don't have that. It is just not there. I have link to an image to show you what I am referring too but not sure how useful it will be as it is just an image of a plain newsbin tab in the taskbar.
Have other people experience this or is there a setting that got changed?
I have version 6.90 build 5524. This is still the latest version?
Cheers

I'm building a fresh Win 11 test machine. I'll check it out. Its possible I disabled it in the last beta to test for a crash condition. Are you running the release or the latest beta?

Thank you for the quick reply and looking into this.

BTW, great you are looking into this but this curiosity is not urgent or a pressing matter. Be nice to have it back but not crying for it. Just reporting an observation.
My win11 accessibility visual effects is on.
Cheers
