Getting right name of obfuscated posts doesn't always work

In the past, I've mostly gotten the right results from obfuscated posts (i.e., the file is saved with the correct filename, not the obfuscated name.)
Just now, I got a whole batch of files for which Newsbin shows the right name in the subject, but the obfuscated name is used in the saved filename.
Both 6.82B8 and 6.82B7 fail (although I'll point out that B8 gives the obfuscated name twice, while B7 only once.
Am I missing a switch or doing something wrong? This normally works fine for me.

How are you downloading? NZB files, search engine or something else? The correct name has to come from somewhere. So either a tag from our "<this part>" search engine or the NZB Filename. The current beta renames more than the B7.

If you're using NZB FIles, you can email some to ts @ newsbin.com. I can check them out.

I have been running into this quite a bit recently as well, I will start sending them your way instead of just manually renaming them.

B7 only renamed MKV files. B8 renames any file with a known extension and some source for the real filename.

It's a moving target, I don't think the posters want this to be easy anymore.

I'm using newsbin usenet seach. The newsbin searchlist displays the correct name, but when I download it the file is named after the obfuscated name.

PM me an example search term and file and I'll try it . Don't post it out here in the open.
