moving Newsbin data folder

I want to move my Newsbin data folder away from AppData\Local\Newsbin

I made the change in the Newsbin.nbi file and I guess it needs to stay in AppData\Local\Newsbin.

What other files need to stay in AppData\Local\Newsbin?

Seems like GuiItems.db3 is another.

GuiItems can't be moved but all the other files can be.

Exit Newsbin

1 - Move all the files to the new location.
2 - Edit the NBI (now in the new location) to reflect the changes.
3 - Double-click the relocated NBI. This should start Newsbin using the NBI in the new location.

When you exit Newsbin it should note the new location and use it by default next time.

I'm make some backups of the NBI before you start.

Thanks. I forgot about double-clicking the nbi file.

So GuiItems.db3 is the only file that needs to stay in AppData\Local\Newsbin?

Yeah. It keeps backup copies of the NBI and a backup copy of the registration key. Leaving it there lets Newsbin know where to look for it if it comes up blank.
