UI request: fast-scroll

Postby mbourgon » Thu Sep 08, 2011 1:41 am

On the very far side, when browsing sets, you can see roughly where you are in the grand scheme of things. Could you either please make that usable (so that dragging on it moves you within the set) or provide an Alphabet list on the side (like iTunes has) that will take you to a particular letter? Thanks!

I couldn't add a alphabet list as the list can be sorted on other fields. But I see the use for a way to jump faster in the list.

Will need to think about this, thank's for the suggestion.

While I have you - how do you sort the list? I can't find an easy way to do so.

Sorting is accessed via the Filter button.

I played around adding an index like in iTunes, but it didn't work out. It took too much space on the row so I can't use it.

Perhaps I can add it to the iPad version only.

Rats. Oh well. I can still use it, so if you could put it in at some point...

I am playing around with the thought of putting quick jump buttons in a toolbar at the bottom instead.
